Broadcast List Planner

Clean segments, a sane sending rhythm, and messages people actually save your number for — without getting your WhatsApp banned.

You have 900 customer numbers in your phone and no safe way to use them. Send one message to everybody and half of them never get it, a few tap report, and one morning the number your whole shop runs on stops working. The trouble is rarely the message — it is who you sent it to, and how often.

What it will do

  • Sort your contacts into real segments — gold buyers, scheme members, wholesale, repair due
  • Set a sending rhythm per segment, so nobody gets two selling messages in one week
  • Give each list a save-my-number step first, since broadcasts reach only contacts who saved you
  • Read a draft back and mark the lines most likely to earn a block or a report
  • Lay the month out around Dhanteras, Akshaya Tritiya, Rakhi and local wedding dates

Who reaches for it: Shop owners and online sellers who run the whole business from one WhatsApp number and have far more customer contacts than they can safely message.

Why do my WhatsApp broadcasts reach only some people?

A broadcast list delivers only to people who already have your number saved in their own phone. Everyone else gets nothing and WhatsApp never tells you, so the list looks fine while half of it is dead. The step before the send matters more than the message: get the shop number saved, with a link or a QR on the bill, the parcel and the counter card.

How many contacts can I put in one WhatsApp broadcast list?

256 per list, on the normal app and on WhatsApp Business alike, and each list is its own send. Four lists of 200 is allowed. The real limit is not the count, though — it is blocks and report taps from people who never asked to hear from you, and WhatsApp keeps tightening how freely a business number may broadcast.

What should a jeweller actually send on a broadcast?

Rate and reminder before offer. A morning 22K and 18K rate line, a scheme instalment due date, a piece ready for pickup — those are the messages people keep your number for. Write purity the way it is stamped: 916 is 22K, 750 is 18K, 925 is sterling. Quote per gram, and if you quote per tola print 11.6638 g beside it.
