How do I measure my ring size at home in India?
Three honest ways: match a ring you own against the on-screen sizer (calibrated with any bank card), wrap a thread around the finger and read the chart, or print the PDF chart at 100% scale and check it with the 50mm bar.
What is Indian ring size 12 in US size?
Indian 12 is about US 6 (16.5mm inner diameter). The full Indian 4–30 chart with mm, US and UK equivalents is on this page, and the same suite covers bangle sizes 2-2 to 2-12.
How do I take a customer's bangle size over WhatsApp?
Ask her to fold the thumb into the palm and run a tailor's tape around the widest part of the hand, then send you that reading in cm. Type it into the bangle side of this page and it names the nearest Indian size between 2-2 and 2-12, and the next size up if she likes her bangles loose.
What does bangle size 2-6 mean?
Bangle sizes are the inner diameter in inches: 2-6 means 2 and 6/16 inches, about 60.3 mm across. Sizes run in sixteenths, so 2-4 is 2.25 inches and 2-8 is 2.5 inches. Most women take 2-4 to 2-8. The chart here lists every size with its inches and its width in mm.
Should I take the bigger or smaller size for a wide band ring?
Take the bigger size for a wide band and the smaller one for a thin band. A wide band sits against more of the finger, so the same inner diameter feels tighter as the band gets broader. Measure across the inner edge of a ring that already fits, never the outer edge, then read it off the Indian 4-30 chart on this page.
Why does my printed ring size chart give the wrong size?
Almost always the printer has scaled the page. Print at 100% or Actual size with fit-to-page switched off, then put a ruler on the 50 mm check bar — if it does not measure 50 mm, every circle on that sheet is off and so is the size it gives. The bar is the same on every chart design here.
Can I put a ring size guide on my own jewellery website?
Yes, with Tools Pro — it gives you one embed line that puts this whole size suite on your website or bio page as your size guide, with your shop's name on it. The printable PDF chart is free with no daily limit, in three designs; five more designs and the A6 bridal ring card come with Pro.
