How do I set a listing price to make ₹200 profit on Meesho?

Enter ₹200 as the profit you want in hand plus your cost — the tool works the fees, GST and shipping backwards and hands you the exact listing price. It solves the price rather than making you guess-and-check.

What should my listing price be to survive a 10% coupon?

Use the festival planner (Tools Pro): it targets a price that still clears your margin after a 10% discount, so sale-season coupons never eat into cost.

What should I enter as my cost per piece?

Enter everything the piece costs you before it ships — your purchase or making price, packing box, polybag, tag and any inward courier. Leave out marketplace commission, the fixed fee, the shipping you pay and product GST; the calculator subtracts those itself, so entering them here counts them twice and inflates the price.

Is my Meesho listing price inclusive of GST?

Yes — the price a buyer pays is GST-inclusive, so the tax sits inside your listing price rather than on top of it. For jewellery at 3%, the taxable value is the price divided by 1.03 and the difference is what you remit. That line shows separately in the breakdown, so the in-hand figure is already after tax.

Why does the same piece need a different price on Meesho and Amazon?

Because the fee models differ. Meesho charges no commission on most categories, so the price mainly has to cover your cost, GST and any shipping you pay. Amazon takes a referral fee — usually 5–16% by price band — plus a closing fee, and 18% GST rides on those fees, so the same profit in hand needs a higher price. Switch the marketplace tab and the price is worked again.

Is margin counted on cost price or selling price?

Both are used, so always check which base a number refers to. The % margin tab here counts margin on your cost — 40% on a ₹550 piece means ₹220 in hand — while the result line reports margin as a share of the selling price, which is the smaller figure once fees and GST are paid out of it. Same money, two bases.

Can I price my whole stock list at once?

One piece at a time is free and uncapped. Pricing a full sheet is a Tools Pro feature: paste or upload two columns — cost and target — and each row comes back with its listing price, what lands in hand and the margin on that marketplace, ready to download as a CSV.
